Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work as an Educational Aide/Student Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis at James A. Garfield Local Schools in Garrettsville, Ohio for the 2024-2025 school year.

An Educational Aide/Student Assistant provides instructional, physical, and social emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of students with Individual Education Plans. A qualified candidate must have a sincere desire to work one on one or in a general classroom setting with special need students of all levels of ability. Experience in childcare and/or special education a plus.

 

 

This position is at the the elementary school  8:45a-3:15p.  

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BCI & FBI background checks
  • Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group offers background checks ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
• Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
