Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work on a permanent, full-time basis as a Job Coach through the Geauga County Educational Service Center for the 2020-2021 school year.
A Job Coach will work with special education students in a ~5:1 ratio while on the job. They will identify natural supports in the workplace that the student can use for job support, transportation, and social connections; and communicate with the student about specific work/social skills needed for the particular employment position. Job coaches must be able to work independently.
East Program
Job Coaches will report to Cardinal High School at 7:30am and ride the bus with the students to their assigned site.
West Program
Job Coaches will report to Kenston Intermediate School at 7:30am. They will drive their own vehicles (mileage is reimbursed at $0.535 per mile) to the assigned job site and arrive there at 8:00am.
Additional West Program Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- MVR (motor vehicle records) check with acceptable driving history shown
Requirements:
- BCI & FBI background checks
- Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($50), if you do not already have them
- Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
- Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education
